oh the sadness of departing...

So, my cousins have been staying at my house for the past week. Their parents are divorced, the mom lives in Plano, and the dad lives in Shanghai. Both of them are in their late twenties, and have 2 children, Isabelle, and Ethan. Ethan is 4(?) and Isabelle is about to turn 8. Their mom, seems to take very little care of them, and rely on materialistic pleasures to keep them happy, while the father uses more of a nurturing and companionship type of happiness. My cousins were fighting over a origami swan that Cathy had made for them, even though there were two. It made me think, and i felt really sorry for my cousins. They were fighting to get my uncles attention, Both of them had probably realized that their dad was leaving today, and would not see him for another 3 months, which seems extremely depressing.
Isabelle and Ethan both clamor for attention, Cathy told Ethan that he was cute yesterday, and he flipped out and started acting hyper, which was honestly, very cute.
Isabelle used to be loud and hyper, but since the parents divorce, it seems like she has a different demeanor about life now.

Okay, so Jason and I are going to share a blog now for double the adventure (:

First day of February started off mediocrely. Lot's of college scholarships deadlines approaching and also FAFSA. Oh the joy, I love filling out forms with the same basic information! It's almost as fun as doing calculus homework, which I did today too.

The only highlight of my day was when Crystal said we're going shopping and baking brownies on the 16th! a) I love shopping b) I love brownies! It's a win/win situation.

I look bad in plaid ):
